Song Joong Ki in talks for a new historical drama

Upcoming tvN drama 'Asadal' might be Song Joong Ki's next project.


On March 12, a rep from Blossom Entertainment stated, "It's true that Song Joong Ki has been given an offer for the historical drama 'Asadal' but nothing is yet confirmed regarding his next project."

'Asadal' is a new work by scriptwriters Kim Young Hyeon and Park Sang Yeon of 'Deep Rooted Tree' and 'Queen Seondeok', and producer Kim Jin Won of 'The Innocent Man' is in charge.


The new drama will be completed in pre-film and set to air in 2019. Stay tuned for updates.
