Actress Song Ji Hyo revealed her 'Running Man' castmate Yoo Jae Suk changed her personality.
In an interview for her upcoming film 'What a Man Wants' on March 29, Song Ji Hyo expressed, "It's been 9 years since I've appeared on SBS' 'Running Man'. In the beginning, I put my all into it, so I was tired and weighed down. I thought, 'This will pass,' to withstand it all, and now I'm more flexible about it. It's not as tiring as it once was."
On how the variety show has affected her life, the actress shared, "When I was younger, I was very introverted. I became stiff and sweat a lot when I got attention or someone noticed me. My self-esteem was low. As I started acting, I thought about whether it fit me. I was stressed out from work, and it was tough maintaining relationships with other people."
She continued, "I became how I am now by going on 'Running Man'. Yoo Jae Suk especially always comforted me, saying, 'It's okay,' and understood me whenever I did something. Because of him, I changed a lot and got some confidence."
'What a Man Wants' premieres in theaters on April 5 KST.
