The aftermaths of domestic fans' album purchase lottery war to attend Wanna One's upcoming fansign event has left many in tatters.
A few days ago, one fan shared a bitter photo via their blog, after failing to win a ticket to Wanna One's fansign. They wrote, along with the photo below, "I entered with 213 lottery tickets for Wanna One's fansign and spent a total of 4,260,000 KRW ($4,004.40 USD), and still failed to get in! Clap clap clap clap clap!! #WannaOne #FanSign #EliminatedatLightningSpeed."
Domestically, fans can purchase copies of Wanna One's album in local album stores or bookstores and earn a chance to draw a lottery ticket to attend the group's domestic fansign event. The lottery is randomized, but the word among fans online currently is that you won't have a chance unless you purchase over 250 copies of the album.

Seeing the post, many netizens sympathized with the Wannable, commenting, "My sister's friend bought 100 and didn't get in", "No way I'll ever get chosen in my lifetime", "I remember back during 'Face' and 'Action', I could get in with one album, but these days it's an impenetrable wall", "I wanna go too TT", "This person seriously had no luck whatsoever", "When will I get to talk with Wanna One, when!", "Someone I know bought 300 copies and barely got in the fansign", and more.
If you remember, a similar thing happened back in November, after the release of Wanna One's '1-1=0 - Nothing without You'. One Lai Kuan Lin fan purchased 210 copies of the album but failed to get into the fansign event, advising other fans afterward to "buy a moderate amount".
