South Korean President Moon Jae In gave a call to Girls' Generation's Seohyun on the Lunar New Year holiday!
On February 15, Moon Jae In called 11 South Korean citizens, including Seohyun, an unemployed young person, a public health physician, and a Vietnamese woman who married a Korean man and became a police officer. The Girls' Generation member recently performed with the North Korean Art Troupe after receiving a request from the Blue House (the executive office and official residence of the South Korean head of state), and it seems the President himself wanted to thank her.
It's reported President Moon Jae In said, "The sight of the South and North holding hands and performing touched the entire globe," and Seohyun responded, "I was happy to have been able to take part in such a historic moment."
