The lyrics Epik High come up with always call out issues such as corruption, greed, and hardships that other people don't address. The effort they put into their music is shown clearly through the meaningful and relatable lyrics they write and allows for their fans to understand and empower themselves to continue striving forward and living a fulfilling life.
"Umbrella" featuring the beautiful Younha shares the story of a loss and mourning in the metaphor of an umbrella.

Their MVs are Priceless
My personal favorite is "Born Hater" where Epik High brings together Beenzino, Verbal Jint, WINNER's Song Min Ho, and iKON's B.I and Bobby to put together a song inspired by the seven deadly sins. As a group that generally doesn't release MVs, when they do Epik High impresses with the quality and meaning of their videos.

Their Awesome Feature Artists
Epik High always goes out of their way to have amazing contributions to their albums from their friends. Over the years, they have had more people interested in collaborating and coming together such as Kero One, Dumbfoundead, Younha, MYK, Taeyang, Rakka, Gallant and Eric Nam just to name a few. Their newest album 'We've Done Something Wonderful' features IU, Song Min Ho, Simon Dominic, The Quiett, Oh Hyuk, Lee Hi, Suhyun, Kim Jong Wan, and Crush!

Their Dedication to their Music
Tablo had to step down from his position from HIGHGRND which is something that he created to help underground artists get the opportunity to share their music and talents. In order to focus on their album, Tablo had to step down. And that's only one of many sacrifices. All three of them together pour a lot of their emotions and hard work into their albums proving that as tiring as their work may be, they are dedicated to bring quality over quantity to address important things.
5.
They Love and Support their Friends
As an older group, they try their best to support and love their friends that come after them, especially in the YG family. Recently, Tablo has been shown supporting BTS and befriending SUGA, even learning the dance for "Fire"! On Tablo's Snapchat story, he shared a photo of a conversation with SUGA where he said he was proud of SUGA when he showed a keycard for celebrities attending the 'Billboard Music Awards.'

They are Timeless
Since their debut 14 years ago, Epik High has gone through a lot of changes in their music and style. But they still remain youthful and relevant as they continue to create widely accepted and loved albums. Plus, the trio is so energetic as a group they can be seen playing and messing around with their juniors. So essentially Epik High is the dads of Korean Music that is hard not to love.
7.
Their Music Remains Relatable
Epik High is amazing in that their music never gets old and still remains relatable in a world where we're always looking for the next big thing. The meaning and stories in the lyrics remain valued and loved by their fans everywhere and of every age.

What's your Favorite Epik High Moment??
My personal favorite is when the Epik High trio interacts with young Haru and seeing Tablo geek out over his wife's friends.
