On October 4, it has been revealed that the singer and her two brothers attended the wake and met with visitors.  Upon witnessing the sudden reports, netizens commented, "Deep condolences go out to the grieving family," "Please stay strong", "They lost their parents at such a young age.  It must be very tough to endure,"  "She must be so heartbroken right now," "Can't imagine the devastation they must be going through after losing both parents."

The singer's agency stated, "Park Bo Ram's mother has passed away after fighting an illness.  Regardless of her young age, Park Bo Ram is keeping steady and is attending to her mother's funeral procedures.  We send out our deepest condolences and ask that many would leave warm and encouraging comments during this time of need."

Meanwhile, the wake is being held at Kangwon National University Hospital's funeral home.  The funeral is scheduled for October 5.
