At the press conference for his first solo album on September 14, Bobby stated that Yang Hyun Suk allowed him to release a full-length album because he constantly sent him music. In an interview, Yang Hyun Suk responded, "I think Bobby said that because he's humble," explaining that constantly sending him music won't work.
He continued, "I think I listened to all his songs 100 times when I was helping Bobby out with his album production. Personally, I think his songs are fresh, and I think all the tracks are good. Watching Bobby slowly change and mature as he ages makes me feel like I'm watching a drama. Bobby's first solo album left a deep impression on me, and I think of it as one amusing page in his screenplay."
Yang Hyun Suk had more to say about Bobby's 'Love and Fall' album, stating, "Bobby's solo album is completely different than what you've seen him do on 'Show Me the Money 6' and with iKON. Bobby showed his potential as a rapper on 'Show Me the Money', and he made his position in the team clear with years of promotions with iKON. Bobby has released his first solo album in 3 years, but following Big Bang, it's really not that common to release a 10-track solo album in YG... Personally, Bobby's album exceeded my expectations. Instead of telling him good job, I'd like to tell him not to forget his original goals."
Have you heard Bobby's new title tracks "I Love You" and "Runaway"?
