It's been revealed that TOP Media has decided to file a counter indemnity complaint against former TEEN TOP member L.Joe.
On September 15, a representative of TOP Media stated, "We ended up filing a complaint with the court because it could not be helped. It's true that it was a counter indemnity complaint."
The counter indemnity complaint will argue in favor of TOP Media's right to ask L.Joe for compensation of the losses and damages the label suffered, after the former idol's one-sided contract termination, when the contract period had yet to run out. L.Joe previously filed for the nullification of his contract back in February of this year, refusing to show up to TEEN TOP schedules and attending solo activities on his own. TEEN TOP's contracts with TOP Media will not come to an end until January of 2018.
Afterward, the two sides failed to reach a reasonable agreement with each other regarding L.Joe contract nullification request. Reportedly, TOP Media will claim damages suffered due to L.Joe's failure to fulfill his required schedules as requested in his contract.
Stay tuned for updates.
