The label explained that IU rejected a stylist and a makeup artist while on the show. She did her own makeup and hair, as well as overall styling. It's also revealed that IU received numerous clothing sponsor offers, asking the star to wear their fashion brands' products, however, they were all rejected.
An insider commented, "It's very rare for celebrities to show a 100% natural side of them on a broadcast."
The uncommon decision to go completely natural on a show is revealed to have been made by IU, who wanted to display the true, natural side of her on 'Hyori's Bed & Breakfast'.
As for the rejections for clothing sponsors, Fave Entertainment explained, "Sometimes issues can occur from clothing sponsors and we tend to avoid things that could lead to trouble from the very beginning. There are multiple things to consider so we usually don't accept sponsors."
Meanwhile, 'Hyori's Bed & Breakfast' is heading towards its end with two more episodes left. You can enjoy the last of the variety show this and next Sunday at 8:50 p.m. KST.
