Sunmi mentioned, "I started preparing for the album back in March. There were a lot of hardships and difficulty surrounding 'Gashina'. I recorded the song so many times. I think I recorded about six times, which took quite a while. With that being said, I am satisfied how it turned out."
The former Wonder Girls member also shared how her former group mates showed support. "All the (Wonder Girls) members contacted me saying they are rooting for me. Yubin unnie said she was glad to see me do what I love. I also showed Sohee a part of the dance choreography and she said 'it was so cool'. Sohee is objective and she tends to be quiet but she didn't hold back her praise."
Sunmi also added, "I also got in touch with producer J.Y. Park and he asked me how my album preparations were going."
