Recent reports stated that Wanna One is allowing fans to choose their debut song by voting. 

YMC Entertainment responded to the reports and explained, "The voting for Wanna One's debut track is not yet confirmed. We're currently in discussion with the members." 

A rep from the label further explained, "We will be choosing the song that the members' like the most and we will once gain discuss it with the label. It is possible for us to have a vote with top 2~3 options. It's currently in adjustment."

Meanwhile, some netizens are opposing the idea and commented, "Just let the members choose. It'll sound too old and familiar if the 'nation's producers' hear it before debut", "I think it'll be right for the members to choose for themselves."
