When asked about the struggles he faced while working the show, Park PD named BoA's departure as the greatest difficulty of all.
He explained, "The most difficult time was when BoA left the show due to her schedule and Yoo Hee Yeol joined in replacement. But that moment was also an opportunity. However, as you saw, we overcame it after Yoo Hee Yeol joined and moved one step forward."
Lastly, Park PD was asked if the 'K-Pop Star' series is truly over. He answered, "Many asked me that. I feel like the reason so many ask that question is because it's too early to end the series. I appreciate the attention but currently, I don't have any plans (for additional seasons). I don't think we would be able to decide on it first unless we come to the point where the viewers really want it. The destiny of all programs and broadcast are in the viewers hands..."
