Clara sat down with 'International bnt' at a recent photo shoot to for an interview.
Talking about her latest work, Clara said, "For my next film, I am in a Chinese movie as a warrior. The director asked me to dye my hair grey to portray both sexiness and purity. I am not famous overseas even though that's where I mainly work these days. Some people recognize me in Taiwan and Hong Kong."
When asked about how she entered the industry, Clara explained, "My mom encouraged me. When I was living in the U.S., I got picked by SM Entertainment and JYP while walking down the street. I wasn't interested, but my mom wanted me to try it out in Korea. So I came to Korea and had a meeting with SM Entertainment right away. I even met up with Lee Soo Man, but my father wanted me to become an actor rather than a singer, so I didn't end up with SM."
