Recently, WM Entertainment's rookie girl group Oh My Girl have been wrapped up in sajaegi (chart manipulation) rumors for their special album 'Summer Party'.
It seems that both fans and WM Entertainment have become fed up with these occurrences. B1A4 has likewise suffered from similar rumors in the past.
The label has issued an official statement regarding the persistent spread of false information surrounding their label artists, stating:
"Hello, this is WM Entertainment.
We thank those of you who sent in tips about false information going around in regards to our artists.
For the welfare of those who worry for WM Entertainment and our artists, we have decided to take strict and firm legal actions against any who attempt to defame the character of our artists through the anonymity of the internet, through means of malicious posts and comments, and ask that all posts or comments suspected of intentionally slandering our artists be sent to Email: wm_judicial@wment.co.kr with information including content, images, captures, and URLs, as it would be greatly helpful.
We ask for the fans' abundant aid and interest, for the protection of our artists and for the continuation of safe and healthy internet culture.
Thank you."
