At the August 22 press conference for SBS's upcoming drama 'Incarnation of Jealousy,' Jo Jung Suk named one of the reasons which led him to choose the drama.
The actor said, "The reason I selected this work is because I love writer Seo Sook Hyang and Gong Hyo Jin so much. I couldn't not select this drama after learning that the two of them would also be working on it. I'm working hard on the drama's filming right now, thinking, 'As expected [of Gong Hyo Jin and Seo Sook Hyang]."

Jo Jung Suk also differentiated 'Incarnation of Jealousy' to the other popular romance dramas currently airing, particularly 'W' and 'Uncontrollably Fond.' He explained, "What's great about our drama as compared to other dramas is that it uniquely expresses the feeling of envy and jealousy that everyone experiences no matter their gender or age. I don't necessarily want to label it a 'romantic comedy' genre but I do think that it is a special kind of romantic comedy."
