For a recent photo shoot for 'International bnt', Seo Shin Ae proved to be a young adult by showing off her matured beauty and thought. She also spoke about growing up as a child actress, saying, "I'm always being compared and that makes me work harder because I don't like being compared." 

She continued, "I'm still not good enough in terms acting, and now I am at that awkward stage where I can't label myself as a child actress or an adult. I think the only thing I can do to overcome this tough phase is to work harder and perform even better."

Seo Shin Ae elaborated on her struggles, sharing, "A lot of people still think that I am very young. Two years ago, I heard people calling me an elementary student. At the time, I was so shocked that I wanted to get rid of my young image as soon as possible, but then I realized that I can't mature over night. I'l have to try roles that suit me, and show my new image at an adequate pace."

Seo Shin Ae last starred in the drama 'Potato Star 2013QR3' in 2013 and the movie 'Wonderful Nightmare' in 2015.
