According to Source Music, the label has started meeting up with various Japanese entertainment representatives after numerous love calls from Japan since last year. Regarding the group's debut in China, the label stated, "China is the golden market, but to remain active and relevant for a long period of time, a more detailed and careful strategy seems necessary. We are planning to find out more about China's entertainment market and prepare better before starting up full on music promotions."
As a result, while a Japanese album may be possible by the end of 2016, G-Friend will likely aim to begin small in China, with small-scale performances or activities.
The report also indicates the likelihood of G-Friend's comeback in Korea some time during the summer before they head overseas.
Stay tuned for more updates!
