The reporter who was sued by YG Entertainment for writing inaccurate and malicious articles was penalized with fines.
Previously, it was reported that YG Entertainment and its' employees sued a reporter, and demanded compensation of 100 million won (~$87,000 USD) for libel/defamation.

Initially, YG Entertainment failed to press charges due to a lack of proof. However, the reported pleaded guilty, and stated that his articles did include inaccurate information. He was accepting of the penalty but claimed that the compensation fee was too high. The court agreed and ordered the reporter to pay YG Entertainment a summons of 10 million won (~$8700 USD).
As a result, the case has now been closed with a penalty verdict of 10 million won (~$8700 USD).
