10 Korean idols who channeled their inner Lady Gaga
1.
Seo In Young
Seo In Young has manifested Lady Gaga's coveted style for many years as an entertainer. She reveals in many shows that she considers herself to be one of Korea's first Lady Gagas due to her creative music and more-than-eccentric style and MV productions. MVs like "Scream" seem to find influence in songs like "Bad Romance."
2.
Junsu (XIA)
In the sense of his many artistic MV story lines, Junsu is definitely another Lord Gaga! He rocks some flashy style as well but it isn't just the clothing that makes him have Lady Gaga-esque but also the way he can control imagery and fantasy into any MV, which Junsu masters in MVs like "Flower" and "Yesterday."
3.
Lee Jung Hyun
A total trip into the past, Lee Jung Hyun was doing some head tilt worthy stunts through her songs and MVs. She has modeled herself into a futuristic yet peculiar character and her performances are filled with flair. She is easily another dazzling Lady Gaga of Korea!
4.
Jo Kwon
No fan of K-Pop can utter Lady Gaga's name without thinking of the ever so fierce and fabulous Jo Kwon! During his solo release of "Animal," Jo Kwon revealed his courageous side through his powerful song and eye-catching style! He continues to push boundaries through his musical performances, donning more eccentric styles and owning his own artistic image!
5.
Grace
Many people have debuts that leave you wondering "Why" -- but not Grace! Her style is a bold mix of hip-hop, harajuku, and overall wacky pieces! If Lady Gaga had a daughter, it would be Grace! Her spunky, in-your-face style and carefree fashion sense makes her an easy addition to a list of idols channeling their weird sides!
6.
AOORA
Although pushing boundaries with more of his racy content, he isn't far from being a Lord Gaga at all! His constant button pushing concepts, sexualized lyrics and style highly emulate Lady Gaga's many sultry pieces like the sexy party that is "Poker Face."
7.
Orange Caramel
Orange Caramel are without a doubt Korea's weirdest trio but in a more quirky, fashion forward way. If you think they aren't even remotely close to Lady Gaga, think again! They represent Korea's cutesy culture blended with Lady Gaga's other worldly styles (think the meat dress). Who else in Korea is rocking sushi dresses and giant blonde afros adorned with gold jewelry with their bras on the outside?
8.
Narsha
Narsha showed a devilish and seductive side through her solo release for "Bbiribbabba." The odd fashion, twitchy yet smooth dancing and bewitching lyrics made her quite the Lady Gaga carbon copy! Narsha's MV is alluring and also littered with religious symbolism, which appears to provoke controversial opinions. Narsha's MV draws in fans with a unique structure that only Lady Gaga herself could pull off! Further releases like "Mamma Mia" also carried obvious traces of Lady Gaga's conceptual design.
Before changing companies and her name to ANDA, Andamiro was quite the fierce lady, being deemed a Lady Gaga due to her distinct vocals and out of the ordinary fashion for stages like "Malgo" and "Hypnotize." ANDA was working her unusual tastes in both her music and fashion but has switched her style to something more smooth and urban these days.
10.
G-Dragon
Let's be real, G-Dragon is Lady Gaga in the sense that he has developed his own 'je ne sais quai,' if you will. His energy, fashion forward sense, artistic displays and adventurous concepts make him an iconic piece of K-Pop. He has matured as an artists, promotes a very restraint-free image and is recognized globally for his trendsetter ways and leading styles. After all, he is "One Of A Kind."
