He wrote, "Ten years have passed. For survival, each and every schedule and every variety show that I did was my battlefield. Though I have no leadership, I led many members, pretending to be strong, overflowing with confidence, diligent, neat, kind, and lazying around at the dorm when I want to have some fun; I thought that was the way to success. That's how ten years passed. I've changed to become stronger from my affected self, became kinder and more understanding of others. All those things piled up to mold me into a more resolute person. We have weathered the countless waves and storms. Ten years. If we've ran all this way for success with ferocity, I think now we should place emphasis on staying together to earn love."
Leeteuk concluded his letter by thanking all the fans, the rest of the Super Junior members, and SM, with, "Everyone at SM, I want to tell you thank you and please continue looking out for us. And the ELFs who went through the difficulties of being our fans!! Thank you and I love you. Last but not least, to our members, we have to work even harder form now on so let's be strong; this is only the beginning..!! Let's all do our best. We are Super Junior!!"
