Things took an unexpected turn on the latest episode of 'Unpretty Rapstar 2,' where the contestants battled it out to determine who would be moving onto the semifinal round.
On this particular episode, Suah and Yezi earned the lowest score on the team battle, putting one of them at risk of being permanently eliminated from the show. In order to determine which one would leave, Suah and Yezi put on solo performances. Yezi, who was the one to go first, inopportunely forgot her lyrics. Suah, on the other hand, brought tears to the set with her heartfelt verses which expressed the pain she felt from all the hateful comments.
After the battle, it was up to the other contestants to decide who would be given a second chance. Every one of the contestants, including Truedy, Yubin, Heize, and Jiyoon selected Suah, resulting in the elimination of Yezi.
In the interview, Yezi confessed she felt a sense of deep relief after her elimination and praised Suah, saying, "It was a critical performance for me too but I almost cried while watching Suah perform. Like the other contestants on the show, her stage really touched me so I have no regrets."

Yezi, on the other hand, left the show in high spirits, cheering the remaining contestants on the show. She shouted, "Good luck, everyone!" before heading off the stage. She relayed, "It's a program that brought out all sorts of things within me. There are many things I earned and learned from the show. I hope everyone does well."
