Earlier today, there were reports that Girls' Generation's Yuri and her now ex-boyfriend Oh Seung Hwan had broken up, and SM Entertainment has confirmed the news.
The agency stated that Yuri and the professional baseball player had parted ways after going public with their relationship this past April. SME told Newsen on October 15, "It's true that Yuri and Oh Seung Hwan broke up."

As previously mentioned, news outlets reported that according to acquaintances, the two broke up after 6 months because their relationship became estranged as they were a long-distance couple. Oh Seung Hwan is currently in Japan because of his baseball career, and Yuri promotes back and forth in Korea and overseas.
