Things aren't getting any easier for Seo Ji Soo since she rejoined Lovelyz. Woollim Entertainment is responding by taking extra legal action against people spreading the malicious rumors about Seo Ji Soo mistreating them.
Woollim's attorney, Chae Jae Hoon, disclosed on September 18, "Three people, including A, who were informally indicted for circulating untruths about Seo Ji Soo, will be sued additionally under the charge of defamation through publication."
According to the attorney, one anonymous informant recently did an interview with an on-line media source, stating a rumor, that the prosecution already decided was clear nonsense during their investigation into A, as if it were a new rumor. They might be talking about 'D' and her interview with 'The Fact.'
The attorney claimed that this informant had released the agreement prepared between Woollim and A as well as the tape-recorded file of Woollim meeting with A, A's older male cousin, and A's friend through the interview, concluding that someone amongst those three (A, A's cousin, or A's friend) had leaked the documents in question; as a result, Woollim's first step would be to take additional action against them.

Previously, A was summarily indicted by the prosecutors, after which A met with Woollim. They created an agreement in May, and Woollim dropped the charges in June. The agreement included A's silence on Seo Ji Soo on the internet, which, if violated, would cost A 100 million KRW (~ 85,000 USD).
The attorney explained, "After the short prosecution, A's side first requested that we reach an agreement. At first, Woollim believed that an agreement would lead to more speculation, so we wanted the court's decision to the very end. However, A was young and had a future, and it was a decision made right before Seo Ji Soo joined the team."
However, regarding the additional lawsuit, the attorney stated, "Four months after the agreement was created, the informant contacted the media right when Seo Ji Soo was about to promote, which is malicious. More than anything, we find that raising once again a rumor that had been judged nonsense by the prosecution is an intention to slander."
