As expected, the first episode of the second season of tvN's 'Three Meals A Day' is off to more than a great start!
On May 16, Nielsen Korea rankings revealed that the May 15 pilot episode of 'Three Meals A Day' recorded 7.89% in ratings, making it the top cable program on Fridays. Around 8% in ratings is considered quite decent even for a variety show on a national broadcast station, and for a cable channel, this is a very successful percentage!
The second season pilot even beat the viewer ratings for the first season pilot, which scored 4.29%. Although it did have slightly lower ratings than the first episode of the spin-off show 'Three Meals A Day - Fishing Village', which had a 9.68% rating.
The show features 2PM's Taecyeon, Lee Seo Jin, and new member Kim Kwang Gyu as they grow their own food and make natural meals in the rural area of Gangwondo. As the next episode features Taecyeon falling head over heels for guest Park Shin Hye, the ratings for the second episode look like it'll go even higher!
'Three Meals A Day' airs every Friday at 9:45pm KST! Are you watching the show?
