'Kill Me, Heal Me' addressed a growing controversy as people claimed the censored out nude photos in the seventh and eighth episodes of the drama were of a member from a girl group simply addressed as 'H,' criticizing the drama for not only airing this but also for not censoring her face; this, in turn, reveals her identity and is a violation of her privacy.

However, the production company, Pen Entertainment, stepped up to deny this, stating that the pictures were taken through legal formalities. Pen Entertainment said, "We cast [the model] legally through a modeling agency. The model personally wore nude-toned underwear and got her pictures taken, and we had explained that they would go out in the broadcast with a mosaic. Our staff members took those pictures personally.
We paid for the photo shoot, then took the pictures. It makes no sense for there to be a problem regarding the rights to the picture."
The pictures first come up in the drama when the mother of twins Oh Ri Jin and Oh Ri On walk into the boy's room and discovered a wall of photos of a naked woman (episode 7). Later, she takes one of the posters to confront her son about them (episode 8).
