Singer JOO has left JYP Entertainment after the end of her contract with the agency.
It's been a while since we've heard from JOO, and a rep from JYPE announced that she has not signed another contract with the agency. On January 20, JYPE stated, "JOO's exclusive contract finished last week. It was the right choice for both of us. We discussed what's best for JOO's future, and the contract was ended on good terms." The rep also added that she'll be looking for a different label to sign with.
JOO grew ties with J.Y. Park and JYPE after her appearance on SBS' 'Superstar Survival' in 2006 and debuted with "Because of a Man" in 2008. Since then, she's been the voice behind OSTs for 'Cinderella's Sister' and 'The Secret Garden' and appeared in the drama 'Dream High' as well as the musicals 'Catch Me If You Can' and 'Full House'.
