Following our last K-Drama feature, '10 Male drama characters everyone wants to date,' we bring you our edition of 10 male characters that you absolutely want and need to stay away from. From their arrogant personalities to dangerous paths in life, these are the kind of men that will break your heart and crush them to pieces.
Check out the ten K-drama characters that NO ONE wants to date in real life below!
Lee Jae Kyung from 'You Who Came From The Stars'
Lee Jae Kyung is one scary man. Make one wrong move and you might find yourself in a time-ticking situation. If he finds you interesting and worthy to keep around, you might be in luck, but I'd rather not take my chances with this one. You know it's time to run when he asks you about your health while touching his ring mysteriously.
Oh Soo from 'That Winter, The Wind Blows'
Although he turned out to be a misunderstood sweetheart, he initially took advantage of Oh Young's situation and money. In reality, that's not something to be taken so lightly. I wouldn't know how to handle someone who is overly ambitious about money enough to get involved in gambling and other dangerous endeavors. With this one, you can probably expect frequent turbulence throughout the relationship until you call it quits.
Goo Jun Pyo from 'Boys Over Flower'
Sure he has the beautiful face, but that seems to be all that he has. For a bully like him, his looks won't last too long and soon you will find yourself wanting to desperately leave his side. Prideful and arrogant, he won't admit to his rude actions and insincere words. He frequently lashes out when you don't reciprocate your feelings the way he wants you to and is ridiculously selfish about it. Lastly, Goo Jun Pyo is also a huge sister's boy and realistically, that's not something that a girl wants in their man.
Jang Gu Rae from 'Misaeng'
Although he might have bought the hearts of his seniors in the company, judging by his overly shy personality, he wouldn't be the first on the list of men to date.Jang Gu Rae has overly passionate dreams and aspiration for his qualifications and can be seen as overambitious and, while that may be inspiring in theory, the man has no interest in making any romantic gestures or has the time to be in a relationship for that matter. He is also young and way too inexperienced when it comes to romantic relationships. Unless you want to become his personal mentor in how to treat a lady, it is probably best to stay away.
Kang Chi from 'Gu Family Book'
Although Yeo Wool thought that Kang Chi was the perfect one for her, angsty teenager Kang Chi is on my list of boys to stay away from. With that kind of temper, Kang Chi causes troubles not only for his lover but also for the people around him. A boy who can't control his own emotions cannot be trusted with other people's hearts.
Dal Po from 'Pinnocchio'
He is as wishy-washy as a guy can get. At one point, he loves her to death. Then, he gives her up because he feels guilty towards his brother, but asks you not to go to anyone else during the indefinite time he won't be back, all the while getting mad at your for getting too close to him, for caring about him, etc. Sure he is ambitious at his work and his intentions are clear, but Dal Po is confused. So confused that he will flip your world upside down--and not in a good way.
Dok Go Ma Tae from 'Pretty Boy'
Dok Go Ma Tae goes far beyond being just a bad boy. He is rather arrogant and full of pretentiousness. Before meeting Botong, Dok Go Ma Tae is a classic pretty boy who takes advantage of older women with money. He doesn't know the first thing about being in love or a relationship.
Kang Ma Roo from 'Nice Guy'
This guy is either way too nice or way too manipulative. At first he'd be one of the sweetest guys you ever met, but soon, he'll turn into this coldhearted, anger-filled, monster who won't stop until he gets his revenge. Although the reason for his anger is understandable, to be involved with someone with such hatred for another being will most likely turn you into a dark person, as well. With his puppy dog eyes and nice guy appearance, he might fool you once, but if he fools you twice, shame on you.
Ryu Tae Oh from 'Gapdongi (The Serial Killer)'
This character impersonates, of all people, a famous serial killer by the name 'Gabgdongi' in the drama of the same name, so... if you really want to date a psychopathic man with murderous tendencies, by all means go ahead, but I would strongly advise against it. He appears sweet to unsuspecting women before viciously murdering them or at least imagining their death, which makes the whole thing even scarier.
Goo Dae Young from 'Let's Eat'
Nag, nag, nag. All this guy does is nag about the way you eat and have you eat exactly the way he eats. Can't a girl have freedom, at least when it comes to food?! I. WANT. MY. FREEDOM! You don't want someone who consistently nags at you and preaches about his philosophy. We honestly get enough of that at home--not to mention he can be a bit of a sketchy guy at times what with his salesman charms and the bum-like outfits he wears in the dark.
