You know it's Throwback Thursday when you open your Instagram or Twitter and see numerous hashtags of #TBT followed by pictures from the past. You might also see the occasional picture of a friend on a beach with the hashtag #TakeMeBack.
Taking the same concept, we thought it would be fun to bring back some of the fondest throwback memories of your favorite Kpop artists and see how far they've come ...... and some not-so fondest... you'll see what I mean...

1) Big Bang - Lies
Tony Soprano used to say "Remember When..." was the lowest form of conversation but I disagree. Looking back at "Lies" now, I can see why Big Bang became the super popular group they are today. G-Dragon says, "So sick of love songs," and this came out at the right time when the K-pop industry was filled with love songs.
2) Wonder Girls - Nobody
"I want Nobody, Nobody but you" Admittedly, I got tired of the song after everyone around me was singing this over and over... However, after not listening to the song for a couple of years, I can now see why it was such a catchy tune. It's a bit sad to see that the Wonder Girls aren't really promoting or even together these days, but #TBT is all about reminiscing about those happy times.
3) Girl's Day - Hug Me Once
From to cute to sexy, Girl's Day has come a long way from their humble beginnings. A few lineup changes and now a four person group, DreamT Entertainment has finally gotten their formula right for the perfect idol group because Girl's Day is at the top of their game right now. However, "Hug Me Once" brings back the nostalgia of the more innocent Girl's Day that I loved.
4) 2PM - Hands Up
It's been a while since 2PM released a song in Korea. With the recent success and hype of EXO, INFINITE, and Block B, some Kpop fans are quick to forget how deadly 2PM once were. Which is why 2PM's "Hands Up" gets a mention in this week's #TBT to bring you back to 2011 and remind you just who 2PM is.
5) Girls Generation - Gee
There is nothing more #TBT than Girls' Generation's "GEE" (period). This song is an instant reminder of why you fell in love with K-pop and these nine lovely ladies. Even though this MV has over a 100 million views on YouTube, listening to this song brings you right back to square one.
6) T-ara - Roly Poly
Ah, what a good time it was, before the various scandals. This song put these girls into stardom territory and was the most downloaded song in 2011. Unfortunately, things went a bit awry the following year.
7) Super Junior - Miracle
Look at that hair! Funny how fashion trends are always changing and can you believe it's already been 8 years since this was released? Time sure flies and this is an appropriate video to tag #TBT.
8) J.Y. Park
... Technically not a video, but you see what I mean?
