Girls' Generation has seized the charts with their latest mini-album 'Mr.Mr.'
Their mini-album placed first on Hanteo Chart, Synnara Records, and other sites that show the total weekly album sales from March 3 to March 9. The album was released on February 27 and since then, has sold 46,791 copies.
On Hanteo Chart, CNBLUE's 5th mini-album 'Can't Stop' came in second place with 13,490 sales within a similar time period--a difference of 33,301 sales! In third place was another SM artist, TVXQ with 'Spellbound.' Following in fourth was 2NE1 with 'Crush.'
Girls' Generation are even dominating the charts in Taiwan and Hong Kong. The album has swept to the top on Taiwan's 'FIVE MUSIC' weekly chart for Korean and Japanese physical albums sales from February 28 to March 6 and Hong Kong's on-line music site 'KKBOX' top 100 weekly chart from March 2 to March 8, beating out TVXQ and Toheart.
