Earlier in the week, KBS revealed that they had banned all of H.O.T's songs due to member Tony An's recent gambling controversy. In addition, they revealed that they had also banned Country Koko's songs for member Tak Jae Hoon's involvement. However, KBS will not be banning Andy from appearing on shows nor will they be banning his group Shinhwa's songs.
The KBS rep said, "Andy is different from Tony An and Tak Jae Hoon in that he was not prohibited from making appearances. Of course, then, Shinhwa's songs are not targets for being banned from broadcasts."

It appears that the choices to ban Tony An and H.O.T songs as well as Tak Jae Hoon and Country Koko songs while leaving Andy and Shinhwa songs alone derive from the severity of each individual's crimes.
The rep said, "For the most part, the ban on show appearances come into place when people receive a probationary sentence and above. Andy only received a fine while Tony An and Tak Jae Hoon received probationary sentences; therefore, the latter were ordered to halt appearances."
