The launching ceremony for 'Klive' will be held on the 9th and 10th floors of LOTTE FITIN in shopping district Dongdaemun, Seoul on the 17th. Although Psy and 2NE1 previously held their hologram concerts, this will be the first time that Big Bang will be available for your viewing pleasure on the hologram screen.
'Klive' will screen Big Bang's "Fantastic Baby" and "Bad Boy", 2NE1's "I Am the Best" and "Fire", and Psy's "Gangnam Style" and "Gentleman", furthering the innovations of the K-pop experience.
In addition to the concert screenings, the hologram theater will also include a space that will serve as a huge attraction for K-pop fans visiting Korea as it'll put on display various items belonging to artists, as well as setting up attractions: 'AR (Augmented Reality) Elevator' which will have you feeling like you're sitting with a celebrity; 'Secret Window' that will allow you to view unreleased photos through special glasses; 'Giant Tower' which is a media tower 6 meters high that lets you pick and choose various pictorials you want to check out of various celebrities; and finally a 'Star Photo Box' which will allow fans to take photos that make it look as if you're posing alongside your favorite star.
There will also be a gift shop, which will be the largest K-pop specialty store with items ranging from albums, clothes, accessories, to stationery items from 50 K-pop groups and artists.
YG is very much involved in this new innovation as they helped establish the hologram contents investment company, NIK alongside KT and D'Strict. NIK is currently said to be in talks with various agencies for contracts to allow for hologram content to be displayed through Klive.
