On MBC's radio program 'Female Generation, It's Yang Hee Eun and Kang Suk Woo', Yang Hee Eun talked about collaborating with IU for her song "Daydream".
DJ Kang Suk Woo said, "['Daydream'] has a nice melody and really nice vibe. Our listeners are asking if the music has arrived at 'Female Generation.'"
To everyone's surprise, Yang Hee Eun replied, "Was the title 'Daydream'? I didn't know the title and never saw IU." She continued, "At the time, IU and I recorded the song separately. The world is like this these days... As IU's voice was in the song first, it became the lead, and I just matched it."

Netizens exclaimed, "Even though they recorded it separately, their collaboration is no joke," "It would be nice if they were on stage together," and "This song is the best."
However, some people thought it was rude on IU's part not to greet her great sunbae Yang Hee Eun if not during, then after the recording.
One producer then explained, "The day after her CD came out, IU went directly to Yang Hee Eun's broadcasting location."
IU's agency also commented, "If they had directly listened to Yang Hee Eun's relevant radio broadcast, they would not have misunderstood. We are disappointed because it seems like some of the fans judged based on what they saw written... When Yang Hee Eun said she never saw IU, she meant when she was at the recording studio."
