It hasn't even been a year since 'monster rookie' Lee Hi debuted, but her popularity is already spreading outside of Korea!
She released "Rose" and "1, 2, 3, 4" as digital singles in Taiwan on April 19th and then her album 'First Love' on May 3rd. With the release, her album 'First Love' ranked #1 on major Taiwanese site KKBOX's K-pop daily and weekly album charts. In addition, "Rose" also ranked #1 on the singles daily chart, and "1, 2, 3, 4", "Turn It Up", and "Special" all ranked within the top 10.
But that's not all, since the rookie was also spotted as #1 on OMUSIC's Korea-Japan daily album charts. Quite an impressive feat for the singer considering that she's never even visited Taiwan before.
In related news, the songstress will be holding her exclusive live concert event 'RE-HI' at Sogang University's Mary Hall in Seoul on the 12th.
