'K-Pop Star 2's winning duo Akdong Musician will temporarily return to their home in Mongolia.

Their father Lee Sung Geun revealed, "I plan to return with my children to Mongolia on the 20th. There is no special reason for the leave. I think my children need a break because they have become very exhausted due to their hectic broadcast schedule."

On the brother-sister duo's decision in terms of a management agency, he said,"Nothing has been decided yet. At the moment, they will spend their days in Mongolia and carefully think about it. Due to a CF schedule in May, they will temporarily come back to Korea, but as of right now, the children will spend time with me."

Akdong Musician previously revealed on 'One Night of TV Entertainment', "We're not sure about which agency to join yet. We will make the decision after consulting with our parents."

The talented young artists followed their missionary parents to Mongolia where they moved to from South Korea two years ago. They were homeschooled until they tried out for 'K-Pop Star 2'. Akdong Musician also finished recording their collaboration stage with a 'K-Pop Star' season one contestant on the 9th for the upcoming 'K-Pop Star Dream Stage'.
