It was reported that Lee Kung Kyu had become the MC for a pilot program that would take place during the Lunar New Year holidays, and that the program would deal with food. With the news, rumors that Lee Kyung Kyu would be returning to MBC for the first time in 4 years started going around as it has been said that MBC is currently planning 4 pilot programs for the Lunar New Year holidays.

Lee Kyung Kyu's label said, "It's true that he got a request to be the MC for the pilot programs for the Lunar New Year holidays. We are currently in discussion."

MBC also released a vague response: "It's not confirmed if he will be the MC for one of the pilot programs for the Lunar New Year holidays. The panel, broadcast time, and format will probably be confirmed this week."
