Even though he showed some signs of exhaustion coming onto the set of the shoot, the singer brightened up immediately when he saw the props and clothes he would have to work with. He talked about his characters Yoon Yoon Jae from 'Reply 1997' and Yoo Seung Gi from 'Rascal Sons'. He admitted that the two characters were very different, and that he understood if fans were disappointed with the vast difference in characters.

He also confessed that A Pink's Eunji and he would call each other right away when they received new scripts so they could figure out how to best prepare their scenes. They would praise each other and watch each other's acting because it was the first time acting for both of them. He also revealed that he used to think he would never get married because he wasn't too fond of children, but when his on-set daughter on 'Rascal Sons' came up to him calling him 'dad', he realized he wanted children and said he was 'going crazy' because he wanted to get married.
