Earlier, we reported that rookie group OFFROAD's debut music video would feature fencer Shin A Lam and now the full MV has been released!
The rookie group is made of 5 members G.I, Kino, Rio, Sihwan, and Seunghoon. Their teaser was released on the 19th and included scenes of Shin A Lam. The music video features the beautiful scenery of Yangyang, Gangwon-do and it was reported that they filmed in the region through 3 days of camping.
Their title song "Bebop" is a term used to indicate a style that is freer than swing jazz, and comes from the word that jazz musicians sang to rouse excitement. "Bebop" combines electro beat, funky rhythm, acoustic instruments and brass to create a free and sophisticated feeling and adds a pop music melody. The hook melody is applied to the hook melody and they are setting themselves apart from the basic 2nd generation idols. They have decided to focus not only on performance but on the melody, and the chorus is made by accentuating each member's vocal specialities. The harmony also combines the members' solo singing and rap.
OFFROAD is targeting the Harry Potter generation in the age demographic of 10-20s as well as the older H.O.T Candy generation in their 30s. Their concept is that of an European, sophisticated idol.
Check out their debut music video below!
