The show scored a total of 3.0 in households which was it's highest in that particular metric since 2006.

On this day, the guests included Britney Spears along with Simon Cowell and as they spoke about the 'Gangnam Style' craze, Psy made a surprise appearance.� Psy taught Britney and Ellen how to do the horse riding dance and also tried to convince Simon to participate as well and received a great response from the crowd.

Hollywood Reporter stated on September 12th KST that, "That projects Ellen as taking an 8 percent share of the viewing audience, which would be her best in that measure since the show went on the air in 2003."
