Earlier today, female hip hop trio Miss $ released their comeback single, "Smoke Less". As it turns out, the song was actually composed and produced by Mighty Mouth's Sangchu!
The song is receiving much attention for not only being Miss $'s first comeback in a year, but also for being the first ever song produced by Sangchu for another artist. As a special present to his close friend Rhymer, the producer behind Miss $, Sangchu spent long nights polishing up the song on top of productions for Mighty Mouth's final album before his enlistment.
"Smoke Less" features vintage drums and brass sounds and is considered a medium hip hop track about a woman helping her crush through a break up.
Brand New Music also dropped news on an upcoming mini-album in the works, stating, "In addition to this single, Miss $ is currently working on a new mini-album release scheduled for mid-October. The album will be the complete work of the members from producing, composing, writing, to styling. It will definitely be a piece of work that will shatter the image everyone has of them, so please look forward to it."
