Supernova's Sungje, who recently injured his ankle, has revealed that he will be taking painkillers to join the group for their comeback stage.
Previously, Sungje had been notified by his doctors that he'd need at least four weeks to completely recover. Although he's been receiving consistent treatment since then, his injury proved to be more severe than initially thought, as it hasn't completely healed despite it being past the four week mark.
Sungje has decided to go ahead with the group's comeback preparations, however, even if that means he'll be taking painkiller shots. Sungje will indeed be performing with Supernova at the group's comeback stage on August 9th despite the protests of his fellow members and his company.
Determined to keep his promise to his fans, he was eventually able to convince everyone of his decision. Maru Entertainment stated, "We couldn't convince Sungje otherwise because his determination was so great. We're not sure if he'll be joining the stage for every performance the next few weeks but we will be checking up on his recovery progress and make adjustments from there."
