On August 1st, Leeteuk tweeted, "Customer's information was leaked. I got a text. It's not even surprising. It happens all the time, but it doesn't feel that great. My information was leaked so it was handed over to the police for investigations, but it's going to get leaked soon anyway. It's a world where I change my phone number, and I get a call right away."

The Super Junior leader expressed how he felt about his information being leaked due to the mobile agency's mistakes.

After hearing about the incident, Fans responded, "Leeteuk's information was leaked too," "I'm having a mental breakdown because mine got leaked too," and "Leeteuk feel better."
