JYJ's Kim Junsu (XIA) wrapped up his first solo tour in Asia.
Junsu concluded his 'XIA 1st Asia Tour' with a final performance in Hong Kong on August 26th with 3,500 of his local fans.
In the beginning, the singer had remarked that there was a lot of pressure and that he hesitated when it came to actually promoting a solo album. However, following his Seoul performance, the media and the audience alike praised the singer saying, "He lived up to his name. This is the proper progression of an idol star."
From there, he traveled to six different cities including Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, Shanghai, and Hong Kong to prove that he is one of the leading Hallyu artists today.
At the press conference in Hong Kong on August 25th, Junsu remarked, "I earned a lot of confidence through this Asia tour, and I will further challenge myself for other Asia Tours in the future."
Junsu put on fierce dance stages during this tour, performing "Tarantallegra", "Intoxication", "Set Me Free", "Fever", and more, in addition to emotional ballads such as "I Don't Like Love", and "Even Though You Know".
A source from the Hong Kong media remarked, "Having personally seen his performance, I can see why he is one of Asia's high-class artists. I was not able to take my eyes off the flawless performances and I was moved by the live stage."
Kim Junsu expressed his thoughts on wrapping up the tour saying, "With each stage, the audience has given be strength to put on an even greater performance. I want to thank all the fans who were with me for this Asia Tour."
In related news, Junsu will also be joining JYJ for a tour around the world, traveling to New York, South America, Europe, and more.
