ZE:A's Kwanghee previously revealed that fellow member Hyungsik came from a wealthy background on the July 18th episode of MBC's 'Radio Star'.

After his statement made headlines and earned the attention of netizens, Hyungsik wanted to clear the air while backstage at Mnet's 'M! Countdown'.

On people finding out that his father is an executive at a foreign car company 'B', "I was actually kind of surprised at how much attention this received. People started calling me 'chaebol' (conglomerate) and such, but my family is not wealthy to that point."

When asked how he felt about Kwanghee saying that he's not concerned about fame because of his wealthy background, he replied with a smile, "I'm in this career because I have big dreams and passions as a singer. I also have a lot of interest in expanding into dramas and musicals."

He continued, "I've never once received an allowance since I debuted as a singer under ZE:A. There were some hardships during the beginning stages of our debut, but I was more determined to make it on my own."
