Five-member Korean boy band MYNAME has announced that they will be making their official Japanese debut with the single "Message" on July 25th.
MYNAME consists of five members – Gunwoo, Insoo, Seyong, Joon Q, and Chaejin – who were all selected through auditions. The group trained for approximately three years before debuting in Korea with the song "Message". Even before their debut, the group garnered attention for the fact that they were being produced by Fly to the sky's Hwanhee, and became a hot topic with their MTV reality TV show "Ta-Dah! It's MYNAME".
The group held their first fan meeting in Harajuku on White Day (March 14th) this year, which sold out completely. MYNAME is currently promoting the release of their second Korean single "Hello&Goodbye", which officially went on sale on June 1st.
