Idol group TEEN TOP received the praises of singer and producer J.Y. Park.
The May 12th episode of KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Song 2' paid tribute to J.Y. Park, and the contestants performed re-made versions of his greatest hits.
The first to perform were TEEN TOP's Niel, C.A.P, and Changjo, and the three belted out J.Y. Park's hit from the 1990's, "Honey".
Niel surprised everyone on set by revealing he was actually born in 1994, the year J.Y. Park first debuted onto the music scene.
The boys put on a lavish and charismatic performance that was very mature in style, and MC Moon Hee Jun who watched them perform remarked, "Most idols get really nervous on this stage, but they aren't scared at all."
The other contestants could not hold back their own praise, and singer Hong Kyung Min remarked, "I saw TEEN TOP in a completely new light."
The biggest compliment, however, was from J.Y. Park himself who said, "It was on-point, and a powerful stage performance. I was shocked after seeing your talent."
