Ballad group 2AM talked about the time they rejected a song offered to them by producer J.Y. Park.
On the April 5th episode of YTN 'News And Issues - Issues And People', 2AM remarked, "This one song given to us by J.Y. Park was too good to just include in the album without using it as the title track. After thinking it over carefully, we decided to reject the song altogether."
J.Y. Park discovered 2AM with Bang Si Hyuk and have helped them become the ballad stars that they are today.
"The good songs are offered to us first most of the time," 2AM continued. "The song "You Haven't Forgotten Yet" J.Y. Park sang on 'Dream High 2' was for us as well. But we rejected it."
When asked how J.Y. Park reacts when 2AM rejects his songs, 2AM remarked, "He seems aloof and and indifferent. But we never worry about him never giving us songs again because we hurt his feelings," causing everyone to laugh.
In related news, 2AM released a new album last month and are actively promoting with their title track, "I Wonder If You Hurt Like Me".
