With Shinhwa celebrating their 14th anniversary with a comeback, fans have begun to notice that other hit '90s groups like H.O.T. and g.o.d. are beginning to show positive movement regarding their own comebacks as well.
Shinhwa made their official comeback by guesting on 'Win Win' and were greeted by H.O.T.'s Tony An and Moon Hee Jun as special secret guests. The two revealed, "After hearing about Shinhwa's comeback, the members began wondering when we would be planning our own comeback."
Moon Hee Jun continued, "We've been consistently talking about our comeback about once every three years. Recently, we all got together and discussed it for real, but there's a difficult obstacle in our way. If we solve that, we can make our comeback, but it's difficult to solve..."
g.o.d.'s Son Hoyoung also talked about the group's return while guesting on tvN's 'People Inside' by stating, "The members are always saying, 'Let's be together.' It's just hard because everyone's doing their own thing, but we are having positive discussions about it. We're going to try our best to return to our fans with the best image possible."
Minwoo opened up about the return of senior groups at Shinhwa's 14th anniversary press conference by expressing, "Before we announced our comeback, I heard news of H.O.T.'s possible return so I was really looking forward to it. When I contacted them personally about it, they all said no, which was disappointing."
Hopefully, both groups can work out their obstacles and make a grand return like Shinhwa's in the near future.
