Girl group KARA became the first-ever foreign artist to seize the top spot of two different categories on the Oricon Chart.

KARA's DVD-Blu Ray Disc 'KARA BEST CLIPS II & SHOWS' released on February 29th rose to #1 on Oricon's DVD Ranking Chart as well as the Blu Ray Disc Ranking Chart.

This is the first time an artist from overseas has accomplished this feat, and KARA is the fifth artist overall to achieve this record after popular J-Pop singer Namie Amuro, girl group AKB48, Mr. Children, and RADWIMPS.

KARA's first DVD 'KARA BEST CLIPS' which was released last year also rose to the top of the Oricon.

'KARA BEST CLIPS II & SHOWS' includes not only the music video to their first Japanese #1 hit single "Jetcoaster Love", it also includes footage from their Japanese fan meeting which was held at the Yokohama Arena last August.

In related news, KARA is currently promoting their new Japanese singles "Speed Up" & "Girl's Power".
