Jang Woo Hyuk showed off his variety show skills during the recent "Best Friend" special of KBS' '1 Night 2 Days'. His agency WH Entertainment commented, "Because he was in China due to a drama filming, he wasn't able to see the show on television, but he watched 1N2D on the internet. He was able to laugh his stress off with 1N2D despite the tough filming for the drama. Please look forward to whether or not he'll win the [game] next week." For the second part of the show's "Best Friend" special, Jang Woo Hyuk was left by his best friends at a rest area and ended up hitchhiking to Gangneung district where he found a banner needed to win the game. Unfortunately, it was a fake banner planted by the production crew so Jang Woo Hyuk had to jump into the winter ocean as punishment. The star went onto win a speed contest with the other contestants on the show winning the prize of snacks. However, Jang Woo Hyuk went on to lose the ping pong game due to a bad miss as well as trying too hard for the strawberry game and letting his stress get ahead of him. Lee Seung Gi then stated, "Today's MVP is Jang Woo Hyuk," acknowledging that Jang would've won a lot of the games if it weren't for bad luck.
