Singer IU revealed that she had to beg composer Jung Jae Hyung for a song she wanted to include in her second album.
IU recently guested on KBS JOY's 'Lee Sora's Second Propose', where she thanked the composers from her second album. The list of composers were Jung Jae Hyung, Yoon Sang, Kim Kwang Jin, Kim Hyung Suk, Yoon Jong Shin, Lee Juk, and Kim Hyun Chul.
MC Lee Sora asked IU, "Which composer's song was your favorite?" to which IU replied, "Jung Jae Hyung" without any hesitation.
She explained, "I really wanted the song by Jung Jae Hyung so I went all the way to his house. I begged him to give me the song and in the end, I got it."
Lee Sora couldn't hide her surprise at IU's story, and said, "Jung Jae Hyung seems like a laid-back person, but I guess he's not the type to just give out his songs."
Jung Jae Hyung had composed the track, "L'Amant".

Later, IU revealed unabashedly that Lee Sora was her role model, and so she sang a cover of Lee Sora's "Tears" in her own unique style.
This episode of 'Lee Sora's Second Propose' will air on January 17th.
